I play in a brass band in East Sussex alongside experienced players with higher end cornets who listen to, and look upon, this beautiful instrument with envy. I bought the lacquered version last year and it really does sound amazing. It gives a lovely, rich, mellow sound, and is relatively free blowing providing easy reach of upper register notes. The valves spring reassuringly quickly, and overall this is simply a brilliant instrument.

Horn arrived within 24 hours and the player is over the moon with her very own french horn!

I bought a JP374TS Euphonium in February 2022. I'm very pleased with the instrument and with my various dealings with John Packer Ltd over the last three years. My third valve was sticky, and Mark Glover (my teacher) suggested changing the valve oil, which fixed it.

A good match for euphonium valves, the larger brush works well to remove grime and ensure that pistons move cleanly. The smaller mouthpiece brush is essential to keep mouthpieces clear of any food particles.
